Over a decade of writing,
millions of words written...
Chris LeRose can not be stopped. He has tried to take breaks, but the stories just keep coming. He wanted to write one novel, but now another one is pouring out of him. Another screenplay will sometimes appear out of nowhere. He wakes up next to a short story after a night of heavy drinking and wonders what the hell happened.
He writes whether he wants to or not, without really knowing why.

A true calling.
While stuck in a depressing job in a dying hardware store, Chris started clipping scrap paper into a clip-board and writing stories while pretending to work. From then on, writing became a way to escape his dreary existence.

A magical city.
Chris got himself educated in visual effects for film and television, and worked in the industry for many years. He worked long hours and slept very little, writing at night and enjoying the city, sometimes losing his mind due to exhaustion (and drug use). He got to know the city of Vancouver well during this time.

A dozen scripts.
Chris honed his craft as a screenwriter, cranking out several scripts in the horror, science fiction and fantasy genres. This went on for years, the strict formatting building his discipline and storytelling prowess. He eventually took a break from screenwriting, as he wanted to have fun with more free-form storytelling.
And that's when the dam burst.
The stories just kept flowing, and a novel came to fruition.
After years of being locked into the strict format of movie scripts, Chris could write whatever he wanted, and now he does.
You can enjoy the fruits of his years of discipline.
